How the plus-sizing calculator works
Plus sizing increases wheel diameter while searching for lower-profile tire dimensions that keep theoretical overall tire diameter close to the starting size. The tool ranks dimensional candidates; it does not recommend or approve a tire for a specific vehicle.
Candidate search method
For the selected Plus 1, Plus 2 or Plus 3 wheel diameter, the calculator evaluates common width and aspect-ratio increments around the starting tire and ranks options by absolute overall-diameter difference. The closest geometric matches appear first.
What to check before using a candidate
Confirm that the tire exists in the market, is approved for the chosen rim width, meets load and speed requirements, clears the vehicle through steering and suspension travel, and is permitted by the vehicle manufacturer and local rules.
