What is tested
The calculation functions are pure and covered by automated unit tests in the repository. Tests check the formulas described in the methodology, unit conversions and rejection of invalid input.
This is verification of arithmetic. It is not a field study, and no vehicle measurements, certification or third-party audit are claimed.
What the numbers represent
- Nominal dimensions from tire markings and wheel specifications.
- Differences between two setups, not absolute clearance.
- Theoretical values that assume a perfectly round tire at stated size.
Where reality differs

| Load and pressure | Loaded radius is smaller than nominal; wear reduces diameter. |
| Wheel design | Spoke shape, brake clearance and flange profile are not modelled. |
| Vehicle | Suspension travel, steering lock and bodywork are not modelled. |
Verification before purchase
Treat results as a way to compare options. Confirm fitment physically, check load and speed ratings, and follow local regulations. Automated arithmetic checks do not replace manufacturer specifications, physical measurements or professional verification.
